Fellowship Programs

The Division of Gastroenterology offers a number of fellowships including a nationally recognized ACGME GI fellowship, superb subspecialty training in transplant hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease, and advanced endoscopy, and an intensive research training program in gastroenterology and hepatology.

Our fellowship programs cover general gastroenterology and hepatology as well as the subspecialty areas of liver transplantation, inflammatory bowel disease and interventional endoscopy. The goal of each fellowship program is the development of outstanding clinicians, educators and researchers within the field. Graduates of the UCSF GI training programs are well positioned to become clinical and academic leaders.
