Discuss strategies for the evaluation of GERD refractory to PPIs
Understand the role of diagnostic testing in GERD including upper endoscopy, ambulatory pH monitoring, and esophageal manometry
Review the differential diagnosis of GERD including reflux hypersensitivity and functional heartburn
Discuss pharmacologic management of GERD including adjunctive therapies and novel therapeutic agents
Review of surgical and endoscopic anti-reflux therapies
