Ma Somsouk appointed associate chief for GI Clinical research

Ma Somsouk has been appointed associate chief for GI Clinical Research in the UCSF Health Division of Gastroenterology. In this new role, Somsouk will provide strategic leadership for the division’s clinical research enterprise, with a particular focus on mentorship, career development, and research infrastructure for fellows, early-stage investigators, and junior faculty. Somsouk will remain a faculty member of the Division of Gastroenterology at the Chan Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.
