UCSF Launches Benioff Center for Microbiome Medicine

UCSF has received a $25 million gift from Marc and Lynne Benioff to launch a new center dedicated to predicting and developing next-generation therapies for a wide range of diseases that may relate to the microbiome. The center will be led by Susan Lynch, PhD, Professor of Medicine, in the Division of Gastroenterology.
